Olsen Home Interior Design | Website Design and Branding by Hirschi Creative
Tonya Olsen is an incredible interior designer. She’s been working in the industry for many years, as well as running her own firm! We absolutely love when we get to do an interior design website. We get to look at the work all day, be inspired, and dream of hiring our clients back one day!
Branding
Color Palette
Tonya’s color palette includes a neutral-based complementary color scheme that echoes the natural and fabricated elements she brings into her work. A cool white as well as a natural wood tone anchor the colors. The additional colors include warm grey linen, a slightly warm dark mocha, and a deep steel blue. A brighter copper complements the colors to bring slight variation to the scheme.
We want the colors to be almost completely muted against the photography on the website and online to showcases the interior work. They should complement the imagery in the best way possible.
Primary Logo
This logo has a very modern feeling to it with the decoration and unique treatment that reflects the logos shown in the original inspiration.
This variation of the type allows us to play with it and use the playful sophistication in other aspects of the brand.
Shown: Primary Logo (top) and Stacked Primary Logo (bottom)
The stacked logo should be used when the primary logo is too wide. When aesthetics call for a condensed logo without embellishment, this logo fits perfectly.
Secondary Logo
This logo has a very modern feeling to it with the decoration and unique treatment that reflects the logos shown in the original inspiration.
This secondary logo has a double arch shape surrounding the further condensed and stacked version of the logo. This gives it a graphic element.
This logo can be used on social media graphics, on the website in other locations than the header (footer, etc.) and can be used on collateral to embellish the design and call attention to the logo in a unique way.
Logo Mark
This logo mark can be used anywhere we’d like to mark something as belonging to the brand that either doesn’t have room or doesn’t require repetition. And the OH mark below can be used also on social media and as social media profile pictures, if it’s combined with the name of the brand in context.
Typography
This typography is clean, sophisticated, unique, in addition to having a contrast between the letters themselves (Marisa) and each font which makes them a great pair.
Marisa is a Minimalist Modern Elegant vintage font with beautiful ligatures and a variety of special alternative glyphs. It’s a versatile font that works great in large and small sizes. And, for our purposes, we use it for the main logo and headers as a display typeface (no paragraphs).
Basic Gothic Pro is a wide modern sans serif font that gives us a contrast to Marisa as well as a solid base to build the rest of our typographic style on. Basic Gothic Pro can be used both in a heading and in the paragraph text of collateral and the website.

Website Design
This was a Semi-Custom website design by Hirschi Creative, and we used the Pam template for this build.
Visit Tonya’s website here! I’m so happy with how their amazing interior design website and branding turned out! It’s clean and simple, and so easy to navigate. It shows off their amazing work. Since this was a semi-custom website, we used the bones from our Pam Template, completely customized the header, footer, and homepage! You can see some more examples from our Pam template here, and notice just how different they all look!
As usual, I used the ProPhoto theme for this WordPress Website. I love how versatile the ProPhoto theme is!
