Whitney Beth Photography Website | Full-Service Photography Website Design by Hirschi Creative
This custom website for Whitney Beth Photography is one of my favorite projects to date! She’s an incredible photographer and needed a new website and brand to match her business. In her words, “I’ve worked hard, I want to do the custom website” and she was right! She totally deserved this!
She’s not like every other photographer in Utah, she makes sure her clients get the FULL treatment when they book with her! She helps with prep, printing, and hanging the beautiful work in your home as well.
We both had kids back to back from each other. And since we both had maternity leaves scheduled, it was a process to get the site finished. Even so, she chose us to do her site and I’m SO grateful she did!
Colors
Whitney’s color palette incorporates earthy, muted tones to reflect the Pacific Northwest and organic nature of her work. These fun colors invoke feelings of love, calmness, grounding, and being connected to the earth. And they still appeal to her target audience (seniors and families) by brightening up the colors slightly.
Logo
This sophisticated sans serif logotype is clean and inviting. Adding the all-caps “the” and lowercase logo gives it that elegant but eclectic feeling attracting higher-end clients.
Because purchasers choosing to shop with a brand with a logo like this are ones who know what they want. They expect the brand to be as inviting as it is professional, giving them the product to match. They want high-end quality with ease of use. Purchasers want to feel welcome and taken care of, and also like they are confident in their purchase and abilities.
Additionally, The longer logo form allows for the logo to be placed on slim products like scissors and combs and to fit perfectly across different products.
Secondary Logo
1/ This secondary logo is stacked and condensed. This can be used as a stamp. Or in uses where the primary logo is too wide or needs to be condensed to save space. It can also be used in social media profiles if the logo mark(s) can’t or isn’t chosen to be used.
2/ Secondly, the expanded typography of this logo gives almost an extra dose of elegance to the brand. It attracts higher-end clients while still seeming approachable and inviting.
