Happy 4th of July! I’ve been really loving western and coastal vibes lately when designing so I threw these palettes together! I love how we can design and pull together totally different moods and brands even with common colors. It’s all with what else you pair it with that makes the difference.

You know those couples that are exponentially cooler than everyone else and they hike in a wedding dress and elope in the most intimate ceremony? You know the ones I’m talking about. Well THEY use @adventurewedmag to plan the coolest weddings you’ve ever seen. And WE designed the new brand and website for Adventure Wed. So does that make us one of the coolest businesses you know?
Maybe! Maybe not. Either way, this custom website and new brand came together in a way I’m so happy about! They used to be Zion Brides but knew they were growing and a lot of their vendors weren’t in Southern Utah, but everywhere people elope! Thus, “Adventure Wed” was born! They connect couples with their perfect vendors to make their dream adventurous wedding come to life!
They needed the website to be easier to navigate and fewer choices for both readers and vendors. Usability was top of mind during our whole process! The brand is bold and authentic, we’re obsessed with how it turned out!!

This one hurts 🥹 We’re so excited for our next chapter but leaving this one is bittersweet. This was our first home! We did so much growing and learning here. We’re so grateful for our amazing friends and neighbors we’ve come to love. Not to mention the complete transformation we made to the home, we redid every inch ourselves and loved it so much. 🏡

May is ALS awareness month! My brother in law @erikthompsontough was diagnosed with ALS four years ago, and while we’re grateful we’ve had more time together than others, this disease is the worst. Our favorite acronym is F.A.M.I.L.Y. which stands for “Forget About Me I Love You.”
ALS has made me angry, scared, terribly sad, and stressed. But ALS has also made me more empathetic, softer, closer to my family, more grateful for my health, more patient with my kids, appreciative of my husband, and aware of my Father in Heaven.
It’s changed our lives dramatically. I’m in awe of my sister, her husband, and their kids who show up each day in the face of so much hardship and uncertainty. ALS is 100% fatal.
Erik always shared a story with his football players about how redwood trees are the oldest strongest biggest trees on this earth, but they don’t get that way alone. Their roots intertwine together so what makes them so strong is each other. In this family, no one fights alone. We try to be like the redwoods, holding each other up. Grateful for everyone who helps them and lightens their burden.
